Player settings
The saved viewing and playback defaults for a board in the Player.

Player settings configure the saved viewing and playback defaults for a board in the Player. You set them in the Player Settings section of the Attributes panel while the editor is in Player mode:
- Set the initial view and navigation: choose the camera the Player opens on, restrict manual panning and zooming to a camera's frame, or show the minimap.
- Configure animation playback: turn playback on or off (or show a still frame), and set the sequence, playback range, initial speed, presentation mode, and camera follow.
- Save defaults for every session: these settings are saved with the board and apply whenever the Player opens. Changes viewers make in the Player's controls (such as speed, camera follow, or presentation mode) last only for their current viewing session.
Opening the Player settings

You configure and test Player settings from Player mode in the editor:
- Switch to Player mode in the top bar.
- Open the Attributes panel. Its Player Settings section holds the board's saved Player settings.
The settings
Initial view

Start camera sets the view the Player opens on (see Animating cameras):
- Zoom fit all (default): fits all visible content into the window, or opens on the board's only camera when the board has just one.
- A camera: opens framed on that camera and makes it the initial active camera.
Playback
When a board contains animation blocks, the Player Settings section includes settings that control how viewers play or inspect the animation:
Playback on or off

Playback controls whether viewers can play the board's animation:
- On (default): shows the playback controls in the Player and the With playback on settings below.
- Off: hides the playback controls so viewers explore a still frame instead, while keeping the board's animation blocks.
Sequence

Sequence appears on boards with several sequences and chooses which sequence plays, or which sequence the still frame comes from. Until you choose one, the Player uses the active sequence.
With playback on
When Playback is on, the Player Settings section shows these playback settings:
Range and speed

- Range: sets the start and end times in seconds within the selected sequence (
0to the end of the sequence by default). This range is separate from the Timeline panel's playback range. - Speed: sets the initial playback multiplier (
1xby default, down to0.1x). It shares its saved value with Playback speed in the Timeline panel.
Presentation mode

Presentation mode appears when the selected sequence has pause markers and chooses how playback starts (viewers can switch modes in the bottom bar for their current session):
- On (default): playback stops at each pause marker and waits for the viewer to continue.
- Off: playback runs continuously, waiting for each pause's duration before continuing.
Camera follow

Camera follow appears when the board has camera animation (including animated lens controls). It sets whether the view starts locked to the animated camera, and shares its saved value with See through active camera in the Timeline panel (see Camera follow):
- On: the view follows the animated camera during playback.
- Off (default): viewers can pan and zoom freely while the animation plays.
With playback off

When Playback is off, Still frame replaces the playback settings above and chooses which moment of the animation viewers explore:
- Pick any moment in the sequence: enter a time in seconds from
0s(the default) up to the end of the selected sequence. - Preview in place: changing the time updates Player mode right away, and the Player opens on that frame when the board loads.
Navigation
These settings control how viewers move around the board in Exploring:
Bounds camera

Bounds camera sets whether manual panning and zooming stay inside a camera's frame:
- No bounds (default): viewers can pan and zoom anywhere on the board.
- A camera: keeps manual panning and zooming inside that camera's frame. Camera animation can still move the view outside these bounds while Camera follow is on.
Minimap

Minimap shows or hides the minimap and zoom indicator at the bottom left of the Player on larger screens (Off by default).
