Modes
What changes in the editor in Creation, Animation, and Player modes, and how to hide the interface.
A mode changes which parts of the interface come first for what you are doing. The board stays the same in every mode, and Irakasi opens the next board in the mode you used last.

Switch modes with the mode selector in the Secondary panel.
Creation and Animation mode share the board and most of their tools, so you can draw, animate, move along the timeline, and adjust shapes without switching modes at every step. Most of the differences between them are in the Actions panel.
Creation mode
Creation mode is the default, and is for making things:
- The Tools panel creates content.
- The Actions panel and the Attributes panel show the commands and attributes of the selected shapes.
- You can still select animation blocks in the Timeline panel. When you do:
- Attributes panel: a selected shape takes precedence over the blocks, so the Attributes panel keeps showing the shape's attributes. When only blocks are selected, it shows their settings.
- Indicators: if the block has an indicator, it shows on the board.
See Creation, and Shapes for each kind of shape.

Animation mode
Animation mode is for animating what you made:
- The Actions panel shows the animation commands and only the most used creation commands, such as Delete selection.
- The Attributes panel shows the settings of the selected animation blocks, which take precedence over selected shapes. When only shapes are selected, it shows their attributes. A selected pause shows its own settings, and tools that have settings show them there.
- The Timeline panel and the Sequences list of the Side panel are available even before the board has an animation.
- The drawing tools stay at hand.
See Animation.

Player mode
Player mode shows the board as viewers will see it in the Player:
- The main editing panels and the Board header go away, and the Player's controls take their place.
- The Secondary panel stays, to switch modes and open the Attributes panel.
- The Attributes panel shows the Player settings, which are saved with the board.
- The context menu offers only the Player's commands, and interactive shapes still respond.
In the future, you'll be able to share a board for others to view without editing it. They'll see it the way you set it up in Player mode.
See Player.

Hiding the interface
Two switches change how you see the board without changing the mode: Hide UI hides the editor's panels, and Enter fullscreen makes the editor fill the screen.
Hide UI
Hides the main editor panels so the board fills the window.
- Operation: choose Hide UI in the context menu.
- Result: the main panels go away. Choose the small round Exit Zen Mode button at the top left to bring them back.
- Tip: use it to look at your work, or to present from Creation mode.
Fullscreen
Takes the app to the whole screen.
- Operation:
- Choose Enter fullscreen in the Main panel.
- To leave, choose Exit fullscreen.
- Needs: a browser that supports fullscreen.
- Result: the editor takes the whole screen.
